Eftpos NZ_Blog Hero - Carbon Mobile 5 SW releases

Our latest Android software release makes Android EFTPOS available to all merchants connected to the Verifone Network and includes the launch of a new Android EFTPOS device, the Verifone T650p.

Key enhancements of this release include:

Introduction of the Verifone T650p

Bluetooth Ethernet available for pilot only

Verifone Android devices now available for all merchants regardless of which bank they are with
Contactless Surcharging – when enabled, surcharge is applied to contactless transactions
Merchant Reference (ANZ only) – add a reference to transactions. Reference will appear on merchant copy receipts and in order history.
Manual Logon – receipt details displayed on the screen with the option to print
UX enhancements
Resend Customer Email Receipt
Navigator activation via side dimple button now long key press (1 second)
