It’s been a very busy year so far here at Eftpos New Zealand. Having recently moved into my new role as National Sales Manager for the company, I have been greeted with nothing but enthusiasm from the team to make 2022 a successful one. It’s been a whole year since we moved from our Boulcott Street offices to our new location at Customhouse Quay and coupled with many of our team returning to work from the office, it's definitely a cause for celebration. How quickly a year goes by and what a year it has been! As we dipped in and out of lockdown, we continued to provide support to our customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As we come towards the end of the financial year, we are seeing companies ramp it up as we all hope of getting back to some form of normality in these times of uncertainty. With the government’s recent announcement of a stepdown in levels, we saw the country move to Orange, which signaled an intent to get back to the way things used to be. While face masks remain important protection and are encouraged, they are largely no longer required unless you are a close-proximity business like hairdresser and food-and-drink businesses. There are no longer any event capacity restrictions which is very exciting for all our music and sport lovers out there! This will mean a great deal to our hospitality industry and our indoor venues which will see a return of many customers and spectators. Despite the obvious struggles, we continue to drive our Android migration project forward with the delivery of nearly 5,000 new units to our customer base. If you haven’t got one, you can expect it to turn up in the coming months. Check out the amazing features on our website here.

While customers have turned to online shopping, so have we! We’re gearing up our suite of online payment solutions which will be available to non-ANZ customers very soon so keep an eye on our website and social channels.
