A cleaner, faster interface
Whether you're processing payments, managing settings, or checking reports, you’ll notice a refreshed interface that’s easier to use, faster to navigate, and more consistent across tasks. The visual refresh extends across the full terminal journey—menus, transaction flows, settings, reports, error messages, and more. Every screen has been redesigned to reduce clutter, highlight key actions, and improve readability.
Easier to navigate
Your terminal is a core part of how you serve customers—so it should feel fast, intuitive, and reliable. That’s why we’ve redesigned the interface to make key tasks simpler and navigation more consistent. Buttons are easier to spot, menus are clearer, and layouts are easier to scan. Whether you're completing a sale or updating a setting, it now takes less effort to find what you need and take action.
Aligned design across flows
We’ve unified the look and feel across the interface so everything behaves and appears more predictably. This update also brings the terminal experience more in line with Verifone Central, so things feel more familiar wherever you manage your payments.
Designed with usability in mind
Easier-to-tap buttons, consistent text formatting, and clearer transitions help reduce errors and speed up common tasks.
Introducing: Support for Differential Surcharging
Pass on processing costs more fairly
Differential Surcharging will automatically adjust the surcharge applied to a purchase based on the type of card and payment method your customer uses. For example, your terminal will apply a lower surcharge for domestic contactless debit transactions and your standard rate for credit, MOTO, and international cards—so you can pass on processing costs to your customers more fairly and accurately. Register your interest for Differential Surcharging here.
Note: Differential Surcharging only applies to Visa and Mastercard transactions
Customise tipping settings
Toggle tipping on and off and adjust tip percentages
You can now disable and enable tipping and customise tip percentages directly from your terminal. This flexibility allows you to tailor your tipping options to suit your business and customer preferences.
Reporting improvements
Easily view more of your past transactions and shift totals
You can now retrieve up to 90 days or 1,000 transactions at either the terminal or merchant level. Plus, you’ll now see Transaction Outcomes included in your history reports, giving you more visibility into what happened and when. Need to review your team’s performance or distribute tips? Shift totals from the last 14 days can now be accessed and printed directly from the Shift Totals report—making reconciliation and review easier than ever.
Delayed installs for software updates
Postpone a software update up to three times
Some terminals now support the option to postpone a software update up to three times—giving you greater flexibility during busy periods.
This update is on its way
We’re rolling out this update gradually over the coming months. You don’t need to do anything—your terminal will update automatically in the background.
