Daffodil Day Gets An Android Update

Eftpos New Zealand is a proud long-time supporter of the Cancer Society’s annual Daffodil Day street appeal. Due to COVID restrictions, this year's collection day was the Cancer Society’s first nationwide Daffodil Day street collection in two years. Determined to help make it a success, we went bigger and better than ever providing the Cancer Society with over 500 Verifone Android devices loaded with the Donate Android payment app.

Donate gives donors the convenience of donating by card without making collecting more complicated for volunteers and gave the Cancer Society and their principal sponsor ANZ the opportunity to brand the device’s screens.

This year the terminals we had on the street were a hit, the most successful cashless option we’ve tried so far.
